They test to make sure the safety controls work, they test the flame sensor, they test the fan motor, and they test electrical components and voltage. So, overall, if your furnace is always running efficiently and safely … it’s due to the furnace tune-ups you’re getting! Not a reason to think they’re unnecessary!
